380m swim – 18km bike – 4,2km run
In 2017, CHALLENGEALMERE-AMSTERDAM will again organize the Junior Challenge. This race for school attending youth takes place on Friday, September 8th. It is being organized together with high school Echnaton on behalf of the KVLO-school sports, Olympic Moves. This makes it a Dutch Championship accessible for both professional athletes and recreational athletes.
The day before the CHALLENGEALMERE-AMSTERDAM in Almere, students are allowed to race on the official course. The distances are adjusted, creating a great challenge for students from secondary education. The students participate in two categories: younger than 16 years and 16 years and older.

In total, students participate in 1/10th of a long distance triathlon! This triathlon is a challenge for which stamina and endurance are needed. All this together make this race a great spectacle!
Do you want to participate?
Ask your teacher to fill in this registration form! Afterwards the teacher will receive a form to fill out for all individual students that will participate. If teachers hand in the form before 23 July, participation in the Junior Challenge is free. After the 23rd, participation will cost € 2,50 per student. Entry closes the 21st of August or when maximum capacity is reached. Students will be asked to bring their own bike helmet. When they do not have one, the organization can arrange a helmet for € 1,-
