TA bags need to be checked-in at the Transition Changing Area at least 30 minutes prior to the start. The Changing Area is located inside the Transition Area, immediately on the left when entering from the bike check-in. More information on how to use the TA bags can be found here.
Bikes need to be checked in on Friday, September 13th 2019. Please see our program for the exact times.
For participants of the Middle Distance there is a possibility for check-in on Saturday morning from 6:00 am to 7:00 am.
The briefing will provide you with the latest information on our race. It is held on Friday 13 September 2018 in the Kunstlinie Almere Flevoland on the Esplanade. Check the program for the exact times.
If you purchased the cancellation option, it will function on a ‘money back, no questions’ asked basis. We highly recommend you to purchase this option, as there will be no other possibility to get your money back. It is not allowed to transfer your race entry to someone else. The cancellation option costs €20,-
The return policy only applies to the entry fee:
– Used before July 1st 2019 – 100% refund
– Used between July 1st and August 25th – 50% refund
– Used between August 26th and September 13th – 20% refund
– No refund possible after September 13th

Friday before the race, all athletes can join us at the Carbo Loading Party. More information can be found in the Athletes Guide.
During the race weekend, the site http://live.challenge-almere.com will be active to provide you with live information about the event. Our Facebook and Twitter pages will also keep you informed. Download our free app ‘Challenge Family’ (or ‘Challenge Family Data’) from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and follow your favorite athletes live during the race!
The organization provides athletes with medical care inside the Theater Almere in the Athletes Zone. Spectators will be provided for medically by Red Cross Almere.
The ‘Challenge Family’ (or ‘Challenge Family Data’) app is available in the Google Play Store for Android Phones and the App Store for Apple iDevices. With this app, you can follow your favorite athletes during their race with live tracking.
Nutrition is provided by the organization. An aid station is located every 22.5 kilometers on the bike course and every 1.5 kilometers on the run course. Besides water, fruit, and other refreshments, the aid stations offer a variety of sports nutrition from PowerBar.
Almere city centre has toll parking with a maximum of €11,- a day.
When registering, a parking ticket can be bought for €5,- to leave the parking lot at a discount.

Timing is registered by using the MyLaps/ChampionChip, which needs to be attached to a rubber band with velcro closing around your left ankle.
The TA is located on the Esplanade in Almere. During the night, the TA is guarded by security personnel.
