Participate in Challenge4All!
During the weekend of 7-9 September, Almere will revolve around the CHALLENGEALMERE-AMSTERDAM. Friday 7 September will feature the Challenge4All: a recreational triathlon. Seniors (55+) can join the Senior Challenge and people with an intellectual disability can participate in the No Limit Challenge. We challenge you to partake in this unique triathlon!
No Limit Challenge
The No Limit Challenge (for people with an intellectual disability) consists of a 20 minutes swim, 25 km bike course, and 6,5 km walk course. We will take a break after each activity in order to rest. During the summer months, participants can follow a special training for the Challenge with Trim Slim (walking group) and FRTCA (cycling group). Contact Triade via Meedoen&Sport@triade-flevoland
The Senior Challenge is organized for citizens from Almere, Flevoland, and outside of Flevoland. In short: for everyone!
The swim course will be completed at Van Rheenen Sport, located at Fanny Blankers Koen Sports Park (FBK). After the swim, participants will cycle through Almere and will park their bikes at the Challenge event location at the Esplanade in the center of Almere. After lunch, participants will start the final part of the Challenge: the walk around the lake. The walking course starts and ends at the Esplanade.
Participants who originate outside of Almere are advised to park their cars at the FBK-Sports Park. They will receive a detailed description how to cycle back to this parking lot after the race.
The Challenge4All is organized by Sportservice Flevoland, De Schoor, Triade, Van Rheenen Sport, FRTC Almere, TrimSlim, the Almeerdaagse, and CHALLENGEALMERE-AMSTERDAM.
Challenge4All is made possible by the province of Flevoland.
