Highlighted: Tri-Together and Business4Tri

Challenge Almere-Amsterdam offers challenges in all shapes and forms. In this Highlight we focus on saturday’s relay races; the Tri-Together and the Business4Tri.

Tri-Together is a traditional relay, with teams consisting of 3 team members; one for the swim, one for the bike part and one for the run part. The distances covered are the same as the Challenge Long Distance; it’s a 3,8 km (two lap) swim, a 180 km (two lap) bike part and a 42,1 km (four lap) run part. The start is just 15 minutes behind the European Championships’ Elite Wave. Our advise: team up and register here!

Business4Tri in it’s current form has been added to the program last year. This relay will take place in the midst of the Half Distance, starting just 5 minutes behind the Half Distance wave. To compete in the Business4Tri a team of 4 is needed. The first team member will swim a lap of 1,9 km and will find the second team member on the way towards the Transition Area. The second team member will ride a 90 km bike lap before returning towards the TA. After racking his/her bike the athlete will meet team member 3 and send him/her away for a 10,6 km run. Team member 4 also runs one lap of 10,6, and will be joined by all team mates for the last 100 metres. So rally up your colleagues and register here!
