Relays getting more popular every year

It’s just an understatement to say that all the Relays are getting more populair year by year. With more than 100 participating teams on the Business Relay, we can clearly speak of a success. Even more when you think about the teams that were competing at the Family Relay and Junior Team Relay. The distances for all those relays were the same: 380 meter swim, 7 km bike and 2 km run.

Fastest times were set on the Family Relay. ‘De Dolfijn’ was the fastest team. These three athletes took 1.14.27 for the triathlon and were clearly the best. Almost ten minutes later, with a time of 1.22.32, it was ‘Super Pickles USA’ that became second. Third team was ‘De 3 Musketiers’ in 1.25.23.

Even before the Family Relay started, it was time for the Junioren Team Relay. While the sky was blue and the sun was shining, all those juniors were swimming in the Weerwater. There were not three, but four athletes in those junior teams. Fastest team was TVAlmere in a time of 1.46.29. TVS ’90 Spijkernisse became second in 1.51.41 and TLV De Langstraat became third in 1.57.24.

The RABO Business Relay was won by EFPC from Bilthoven (see picture). It took those trio 1.29.45 to complete the triatlon. Flevo Fysio 1 became second in 1.30.02 while Flevo Cardio 2 became third in 1.30.47.
